Hello... I just wanted to let you know you have a new customer for life.
I recently returned to the US from hiking and camping in New Zealand for several months where I used little makeup or skincare. I went back to my US products but for some reason had a terrible reaction to them. I do not have sensitive skin and have never had a problem in the past, but over the course of three days, I developed hideous hives and itchy, peeling patches all over my face. I stopped using all my old products and tried a variety of solutions, from hydrocortisone and antihistamine creams to brands reputed to be more "pure" such as Aveeno and Neutrogena, but nothing helped.
Finally, standing in Target one afternoon wondering what I could do, I saw a small green tube of Weleda Skin Food. I remembered someone I worked with a few years ago swore by Weleda products, so I thought why not, I'll try it, my face can't get much worse.
Within a minute of putting Skin Food on my face, including around my eyes where the hives and peeling were worst, my skin started to calm down. After about two days, it was no longer welty and peeling. That was two weeks ago. I have continued patting on a thin layer after cleansing morning and night and am amazed that my skin has not only returned to "normal," but is getting better, looking smoother and fresher and happier than ever before.
I have tried so many expensive skincare lines and elaborate routines with creams for night and day and eyes and t-zone and on and on... from now on I am going to use one thing: Skin Food.
