Cure for Cold Feet in Winter
1/20/2011 1:59:16 PM

Cold feet? We know the cure! Treating yourself to a 10 to 20 minute foot bath with Weleda products a few times a week is an easy and relaxing way to wrap your whole body in a layer of warmth, restore your balance and reset your energy during the winter. What better way to face the icy temperatures than by soaking your feet in a deep tub of soothing, pleasantly scented warm water? Sounds heavenly!

Here’s what you need: Get seated in a comfortable and cozy position, with easy access to these Weleda essentials: Citrus Refreshing Body Oil and Arnica Massage Oil. Fill a bowl and a thermos with hot water (about 96.8 degrees), and grab a pair of warm, comfy socks.

How it works: Put two capfuls of Weleda’s Citrus Refreshing Body Oil into a bowl filled with hot water, slowly dip your feet in and let them adjust to the temperature. The invigorating properties of our Citrus Refreshing Body Oil will enliven your tired skin, replenish moisture and jump-start your senses with a rush of citrus-infused aromatherapy. During the 10 to 20 minute bath, keep the water temperature warm by adding hot water from the thermos every few minutes. Afterwards, gently massage your still damp feet with our Arnica Massage Oil. Rich in organic and wild-crafted arnica flower extract, this warming oil soothes tired muscles, while essential oils of lavender and rosemary calm your mind and help you relax. Last but not least, wrap your feet in your favorite pair of socks and feel the warmth—from your head all the way down to your toes!
