If your baby is very fussy and can't settle down, a short drive in the car might help put him/her to sleep.

Carry a little rescue kit in you car - extra outfit, diapers, biscuits, water - so it's there if you need it.

When my baby was fussy and all his needs had been met, a warm bath helped him calm down.
