Weleda blooms in Paris

Paris’ prominent Avenue Franklin D. Roosevelt is aglow with its newest addition, Espace Weleda. This Weleda showroom and treatment center in the heart of Paris, off the Champs Elysées, greets visitors with a rainbow of colors spanning the entire storefront. This eye-catching exterior reflects the natural brightness radiating from the products and their ingredients, which splash the interior like works of art.

Mirroring the international spirit of Weleda, Espace Weleda is the result of a unique collaboration of renowned international artists and designers. Architect Maryam Ashford-Brown designed this destination to be what Patrick Sirdey, managing director of Weleda France, describes as, “…an oasis of peace and tranquility.” The use of natural stone, granite, oak and eco-friendly paint creates this ambience and helps conserve the environment, exhibiting Weleda’s inherent respect for nature.

A garden designed by Patrick Blanc and iris-patterned doors, created by Shu Moriyama to mimic a flowering field, further evoke this feeling of a nature-paradise-within.

Pure bliss lies beyond these doors.

Full body massages are offered within the two treatment rooms that beckon the onlooker. Demonstrations, such as those by Kinesio therapist and infant massage specialist, Isabelle Gambet-Drago, provide tips and techniques for pampering the little ones too.

Also developed as a cultural and educational center, Espace Weleda offers professional trainings, workshops, rotating exhibitions and concerts. Through the therapeutic products, treatments and engaging activities, there is much to be experienced within Paris’ new destination.
