Calendula Diaper Rash Cream

How to use

Clean your baby's bottom with a damp towel or tissue and Calendula Lotion or Oil. Afterwards, apply a generous amount of Calendula Diaper Care and rub it in to create a protective layer between the sore bottom and any excess moisture. If your child has a very red and sore rash, it may be best to use Calendula Diaper Care each time you change the diaper. Once the skin has calmed, you can switch to using Calendula Baby Cream for the daily care of your baby's bottom.

Relieve irritation from diaper rash and prevent new rashes from forming

Our best-selling Weleda Calendula Diaper Rash Cream provides fast yet gentle relief and treatment of diaper rash. Rich and creamy, it's a natural, soothing barrier cream formulated with non-nano, pharmaceutical-grade zinc oxide to take nurturing care of irritation and rashes and protect your baby's skin.

Organic, anti-inflammatory calendula extract, from flowers grown in Weleda's own Biodynamic® gardens in Germany, helps soothe redness and inflammation. Instead of mineral oil found in most diaper rash creams, Weleda uses fair trade beeswax, which provides a breathable layer of protection to your baby's bottom. Skin-friendly sweet almond and sesame seed oils help keep skin healthy with vitamins and essential fatty acids.

Dermatologist-tested and safe for most baby skin, even sensitive. Not tested on animals. Free of synthetic preservatives, fragrances and petroleum-derived raw materials.

The Calendula plant is comprised of carotenoids, flavonoids and essential oils. This gentle and nourishing botanical possesses powerful healing and anti-inflammatory properties.

Chamomile (Chamomilla Recutita Matricaria) Flower Extract

This annual herb, also known as German Chamomile or Wild Chamomile, blooms small white flowers between May and August. It is found throughout Europe, except in the extreme north, and throughout northern Asia. The flowers of this plant possess gentle, healing and anti-inflammatory properties.

I use the diaper rash cream as a zinc sunscreen for my face, hands, and any temporary darker spots. I also mix it with vitamin C powder and retin as a healing night balm after deep peels. I use it on my lips as well as a sun protectant and moisturizer. This product and the skin food are so thick and moisturizing that I also use them in my hair. I am biracial with a huge amount of hair/curls, so it may not be suitable for other hair types based on the richness of the products, which I cut with hyaluronic acid for hair care. The zinc and cholesterol in these two products are great for thick hair and distressed skin. Seems to balance oil as well. Thanks!

This cream is amazing!! It goes on so smooth, smells awesome and clears up even blistery rashes in a day!! I ran out and tried another all natural brand. I ended up taking the other brand back and making a special trip just to buy weleda. I will never let my supply run out again!!

I have used this daily on my son for two years and he has NEVER gotten a rash, EVER! I'm so glad that I found this before I had him! Saved us a lot of heartache!

This may seem like an odd testimonial but it works great for me (60 years woman). I have always used Calendula Diaper Care for minor scrapes and itchiness that I get from working in the garden and it works so quickly and I always have gone back to it when trying different products. I recently started putting it on my face as a moisturizer, also because it has zinc oxide which is the main ingredient in sunscreen, without all the fillers. It blends in nicely, evens out my skin tone, and then I apply my liquid makeup. It also controls the shine I may get, even though I have somewhat dry mature skin.
Thanks for all your great products!

I've been using the diaper rash cream for over 8 years now and I will not use anything else! I've tried all the other brands with my children and they don't work as quick, as well, and the fragrance is just lovely! THANKS Weleda for such an awesome product!!

My 5 year old has a severe case of eczema. While in Spain I visited a homeopathic/nature store and was recommended to use the Weleda Diaper Care. Since then he has not had itchy flare up. I decided to add the baby shampoo and body wash and its done wonders for my little one. Thanks so much. I have just purchased the entire regiman for 40+. I hope it does the same for me.

Since my first child was born 5 years ago I went through dozens of diaper creams both pharmaceutical and natural. But with my sons sensitive new skin not only did I have problems finding a diaper cream to help with his diaper rash, but I couldn't even find one that wouldn't make it worse! When my local health foods store started carrying the weleda baby care line I thought I had nothing to lose by trying it. And since trying your diaper cream I have to say that not only have none of my children ever had to suffer from diaper rash but none of the parents I know will ever go back to their old diaper creams. I use this for my sons eczema, my husband's calluses and any other skin irritations I encounter!

My uncle was recently in a bad motorcycle accident and ended up having a large part of his body covered in rough scars "road rash". I bought him some of the diaper cream to put on his problem spots, as well as some of your calendula oil for after baths and showers. And he says that his skin feels like skin again and is no longer rough and scaley.

    Thank you so much WELEDA!

My husband and I are huge fans of your products. It's the only thing we use on our baby as we trust the ingredient list, and that is saying a LOT these days! Our 8 month old, Hazel, really enjoys the pretty yellow packaging as well. :) And the diaper cream has kept her completely rash free for over 8 months now!

Thank You, Weleda, for saving my baby's skin! My Daughter has had bad eczema on her legs and arms since she's been born and she is now 2 years old.
The only products I've found to help are your Weleda Calendula Diaper Care and Calendula lotion.
When her eczema flares up, I slather her up with the Diaper Care before bed, and by morning, the redness and itchiness are gone. Then I use the Calendula Lotion to keep her skin smooth and moisturized.
I've recommended this regiment to many friends suffering with eczema! Thanks again!

I recently bought some Calendula Diaper Care Cream from Sprouting Up Natural Baby Store, and used it on my daughter. In just 2 diaper changes her rash was 90% gone!!! This is such a blessing because we have used every diaper cream (OTC & prescription) known to man to treat her rashes and you did it!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!
